My pal, Trudi Trueit, has written book two of her "Secrets of a Lab Rat" series. Her stories and characters have just the right mix of charm and heroic, thoughtless bravado to make them a blast to illustrate. Scab — the main character — has found something in Beeson's Lake. A dinosaur? I'm not telling.
