Today's Page From the Sketchbook

I am always fascinated by what happens when nature reclaims lost ground. A sketch for the fun of it.

Okay, maybe it's just because I watched a special on Easter Island last night, but I'd have to title this sketch, Easter Island 2335. I'm wondering what the color scheme on this sketch would be, too. I'm imagining the Paillotian (Paillotesque?) jewel tones obscured by dull matted olive greens in the foreground.

I like your title, Jim. As far as color, I could see going with muted, 1940's travel poster tones. Foreground would be dark. Maybe murky. Great to hear from you, Jim!
